The South Livermore Valley is a special place to live and grow. That's why I choose to live here and raise my family. I love the area for its overall quality of life. The local vineyards and orchards provide beautiful vistas and are a nice break among the homes. The golf is world class. There is an abundance of local activities and entertainment from community events such as the annual wine celebration to concerts at Wente and the new Bankhead Theater. There are miles of hiking trails, horse tracks, and bike lanes. There is access to boating and fishing at Lake Del Valle and Shadow Cliffs. Livermore is also a great location to reach other destinations. It is less than one hour to the entertainment and employment opportunities in San Francisco and San Jose; it is less than 30 minutes to the waterways of the delta; approximately three hours to skiing in the Sierras; and, only about 3 hours to the grandeur of Yosemite Valley.
